Summer Term Classes
We hope that you had an enjoyable Easter break.
The term starts Monday 20th April, with some classes running for 10 weeks and others for 11. There is a Bank Holiday Monday 4th May - with no classes on that day. The Ammanford class will not meet on May 7th, as the Penybanc Hall is used for the elections.
A new 9-week Beginners course starts Wednesday 6th May. This series gives a perfect introduction to the many aspects of Yoga, offering the building blocks of the Foundation practices in movement (Asana), breath practices (Pranayama) and deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra). The course is designed for Beginners, Absolute Beginners, those returning to Yoga - as well as students wishing to deepen their understanding.
Thursday’s Gentle Yoga is perfect for students wishing to return to Yoga after a long break and also for students with some health considerations.
Classes are held in the Centre as well as the Ammanford’s Penybanc Welfare Hall, Cwrt Henri’s Reading Room and Llandeilo’s Bowling club. One weekly class is offered online.
We teach Integral Yoga, a blend of foundation practices and classic postures which help release tension within the body and encourage flexibility and strength. Each of the classes spends time on breathing practices and relaxation techniques which help ease the mind and bring resilience in navigating challenging times. Many of the classes include meditation techniques that can enhance awareness, help foster clarity of perception as well as improve mental health.
PadmaSamBhava would not wish anyone to be excluded from attending classes because of fees and continues to offer concessions.
